Andrew G. Parker (BA, BEd) is a 20 year community basketball coach in Edmonton and he is also the Director of the 11th annual Pride of the North Basketball Tournament in North Edmonton. Andrew is also a member of the University of Alberta Golden Bears basketball alumni and a former professional basketball player. He has taught 7 years with the Edmonton Public School Board. He is a husband and father of 2, and a proud member of the Edmonton Carribean community. Andrew is a community activist in north Edmonton and Alberta, The Teacher sponsor of the Black Students Union (BLM) for M.E.Lazerte, and the Black Teachers Association co-founder.
