So, you discover you’ve reached 1200 hours of assigned duties in May. What next? Can you pack your bags and head to the lake? There are limits in the collective agreement regarding how much work can be assigned to teachers. Check this session out to find out what counts for instruction, what is assignable and what are your "professional duties". Find out how to use the calculator to see how close you are to the maximums. Now is a really good time to figure this out because no, you can’t just leave when you reach 1200 hours – any changes to your schedule should happen in the next few months to prevent you exceeding that limit.
