Teachers are put under a tremendous amount of pressure throughout their typical days, let alone the duration of their careers. Many different teachers face different challenges daily, but none are more consistent than the engagement crisis in education. In a world of rapid technological development, massive social pressures and an insatiable demand for their attention being pulled in all directions, how can we as teachers make school someplace they want to be? Pulling from research on vulnerability, human motivation and exploring the biggest untapped resources in education, our students, I hope to walk you through some of the things we often inadvertently miss in our classrooms. I also hope to inspire fellow teachers to pursue their passions inside their own classrooms. To help them develop the courage to be the change they want to see. :)
