Asking questions about gender and gender identity can seem daunting. However, the only way to curb the ever-growing mass of terminology, mixed information, and concerns, is to ask! We will explore what it means to be transgender, non-binary, cisgendered, and gender diverse. What role does science play in assigning sex and how is that different from gender? What is intersex? How are gender expression and gender identity connected and different? Why are there so many terms? Most importantly, what does it all mean for me in my classroom? This is a safe space for all to come and have questions answered.
