As educators, sometimes we don’t realize that our implicit biases play a critical role in how students see themselves in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Join WISEST in this session where we’ll talk about how to recognize our own implicit biases, how to address them, and we’ll introduce a variety of teaching strategies that can help promote equity, diversity and inclusion in the classroom. Session is open to educators who work with elementary to high school students.
