Teenagers have had received a bad rap over the years. They have been called lazy, risk taking ego-maniacs. This session will look at the incredible teenage brain and help uncover the truth about their developing brain. New research and science will be shared to show just how undervalued adolescents are. Topics will include brain pruning/changing, hormones, and neurotransmitters. This session is filled with humour as we take a look back at our own "angsty" years and try to move forward to show our students how truly amazing they really are.
