Do not worry about log in information. Learn how to use Minecraft Education Edition (MEE) to engage your students in a world they know and love. Minecraft gets students excited about curricular content and builds a community in your classroom. Find prebuilt worlds and lesson plans for Math, Chemistry, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies for all age groups. Bring students together in class or school wide build challenges. Assess student learning, accessibility tools built in so all students can participate and learn. By the end of this session, you will: • Understand the differences between Minecraft and Minecraft Education Edition • Learn how to get Minecraft Education Edition running in your school. • Get some ideas about how to use Minecraft to engage students in different curricular areas (math, science, language arts, and more) • Learn about the accessibility tools built into Minecraft Education Edition • Understand how to assess student work in Minecraft Education Edition • Learn more about the built-in code builder in Minecraft! • Try Minecraft Education Edition yourself by going through a pre-built coding lesson yourself. • Leave the session with some great resources to continue your learning and start using Minecraft with your students! This session is applicable for grades 4-12.
