Creating IPP (Individualized Program Plans) or IEP's (Individual Education Plans) can be daunting, but it doesn't have to be! Learn to create an IPP that consists of the specifics and need to know information for students with mild to severe needs. Create a new fillable form with the information that educators need to know. When a student transfers to a new school, information provided on the IPP can be very helpful when determining a students needs and how to program for that student. Simply adding "See student record" is not helpful! This session will review the Standards for Special Education (revised 2004) the Special Education Coding Criteria (2019-2020) as well as the Individualized Program Planning document from Alberta Education (revised 2004). How to create an IPP using a word document, and then transferring this to a fillable form in Adobe will be included in this session. Walk away with the knowledge to create new concise IPPs that will work best for your students!
