Psst - students love Shakespeare! Come discover the World of Will - and an abundance of ways to painlessly approach the Bard with your students. Applicable to students from grades 4 - 12. Lots of ELA integration ideas. And lots of resources! Shakespeare is relevant to students and something they do enjoy - when it is an engaging exploration rather than approached like a novel study. This session helps teachers to earn more about Shakespearean text and how to assist students in understanding it as well a multitude of creative ways to approach it. Techniques for demonstrating learning of Shakespeare will be also explored. It is a very practical session and will strive to use the plays of greatest interest to the participants.
