Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This hands-on 3 hour Felt Banner workshop will appeal to not only Fashions teachers to teach their students how to make felt banners, but any teachers who would like to make banners for their classroom. Primary teachers would benefit from these creative and inspiring additions to their room. No sewing experience is necessary, just a creative mind, and a glue gun is required! You will learn how to make a banner or bunting under CTS teacher Cynthia Dyer’s guidance. Students can make felt banners or buntings to decorate their rooms, their homes, or their lockers. Teachers can make their own classroom greetings, inspirational quotes, positive affirmations (Create, Inspire, Imagine, Dream) or symbols. You can create “You’ve got this!” , “Happy Birthday” , “Welcome Back!” , “Happy Holidays”, or “Be Kind”, “Grateful” , "Awesome" or any symbols (such as hearts, animals, or even cupcakes!) to sayings you would like to create. CTS teacher Cynthia Dyer will teach you how forgiving it is to work with Felt, plus many creative ideas about using burlap bunting, ribbon, and fashion accessories.
