Edwin: designed by Nelson and informed by feedback and collaboration with students, teachers, administrators and parents across Canada. Edwin is an online ecosystem providing a safe sandbox for students and teachers to discover curated resources tied to the Alberta program of studies for use in teaching and learning. Participants will learn how Edwin develops assessment-capable learners, meets diverse learning needs, and provides the flexibility to combine with existing plans and resources. Edwin integrates with your school’s current LMS to unify the digital learning experience within a trusted and secure environment. This workshop will inspire your teaching practice by: • Illustrating how technology can easily be implemented to engage students in learning • Providing ready-made lessons to get you started the next day, and • Showcasing the growing professional learning community that is available to support you Laptops or devices are recommended, but not necessary, for this session.
