This is an introductory conversation on how to create a classroom that works towards making students more aware of issues such as privilege, discrimination, and oppression. Also, issues such as sexism, ableism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia will be used to illustrate how oppression operates. This conversation is a starting point and should give teachers a base level of knowledge on how to create a safer and more socially conscious classroom.
