How do we get students engaged in literature and film in an outreach school? How do we make these texts accessible?Discussing literature and film is fundamental to understanding, but how do we do that when our clientele is often not that interested and/or have other factors that prevent them from coming to school on a regular basis? I would like to invite other Sr. High English Outreach teachers to a sharing session about how to engage students in literature and film in an outreach school. I would also like to share accessible text selection so that students WANT to complete the course and be as engaged and passionate as possible.
