As far as brain development goes, we need to appreciate the benefits of failure and how it helps to structure our neural connections. Adolescent brains are being impaired through an ongoing social assault on “failure”. In this 90 minute session, we will discuss the scientific research that shows the benefit of failure and how we as educators can help.
