"Pit" is a fast-paced card game for three to eight players, designed to simulate open outcry bidding for commodities and "Corner" the market. In this session we will play this chaotic game and explore how to use it in your Sr High Math Classes to explore Permutations, Combinations and Probability. It will provide Sr high math teachers with a unique alternative approach to augment their teaching of Counting Methods and probability. The game is extremely fun for students to play and easy to teach and apply to a large group.
